林薇 eyed the mirror again, this time with a flicker of unease. She was definitely much younger now. And yes, high school girl was a fitting description. The body she currently inhabited was indeed that of a high school girl.

Her gaze drifted around the room, taking in the mess. The faded posters of bands, the half-finished science project sprawled across the desk, the stack of textbooks threatening to topple. This was the room of a typical teenage girl, albeit a slightly disorganized one.

But that wasn't the only thing that bothered her. There was something else, something hidden beneath the surface, something that her subconscious kept whispering about. It was a feeling of impending doom, a sense of foreboding that prickled the back of her mind.
